Add anything to the list you can think of...
Here's some suggestions from my recent experiences and/or from friends of mine (sorry in advance if it's too graphic):
1) Do not pack any clothes that you don't mind getting bloody.
2) Pack a nightgown or nursing gown instead of a 2 piece pajama set. You get checked "down there" often and it's very inconvenient to pull down your pants for the exams.
3) You will not need maternity underwear - believe me you'll want to wear home the mesh panties that the hospital provides you.
4) No need to pack any pads because the hospital ones are much bigger (and better). They also fit nicely in those mesh panties (see above).
5) Pack a MATERNITY outfit to go home in - your stomach won't go down as much as you think it will.
6) Pack snacks for Joe - but you won't be allowed to have any once labor has started.
7) If you're picky about pillows, take your own from home (for you and Joe). The hospital ones are flat and very uncomfortable!
8) Bring the baby book so they can place his/her footprints in it.
9) Pack a pair of nail clippers for the baby (or grab those mittens-ha). Most hospitals can't/won't clip them for you and usually their nails have already grown over the ends of their fingertips.
