Pregnancy

2 cm dilated and 50% effaced

Last week 1.5 cm dilated and 50% effaced so not a whole lot of progress. still contstant heartburn and menstrual type cramps

I am ready to get this over with. All I can think about it just sitting on the couch. that's all I want to do :) But of course, last minute nesting wins out.

Baby Minnick

And the name is....Connor Joseph Minnick

we finally decided after a million trials.
We liked Connor, Colin, and Chase and literally bounced between all of them.
Mainly because of my hormones I think.

It's being embroidered on his take home onesie today, and I am ordering Letters for his room, so now backing down now :)

Pacifier

Casey has been off of the pacifier now for about 2 weeks. We were going to try a few days of naps first, and then graduate to nights, but one day Joe left the Pacy out on the nightstand at nap and threw it in the drawer, and that night when we got it back out Casey walked up to the Pacy (that we were going to let her have for the night) and threw it in the drawer. So we just went with it, and she was shockingly good. You dont know how I dreaded the sleepless nights I thought were coming ahead. But there were no tears, no extravagant stories (just that she was a big girl and no longer needed a Pacy) nothing. It was very uneventful. But thank god that ship has sailed. Now we just need to get potty trained and we will be golden. Although I dont see that happening until Baby Boy is born.
